On February 4th, the Fontys Venlo Startup Community met for a brainstorm session in the Technologie – und Gründerzentrum Kempen (TZN). The students of the Fontys Venlo University of Applied Sciences in Venlo exchanged their experiences as young entrepreneurs, developed new ideas and presented their start-ups.
Berivan Algur presented her company Decoration & More, Felix Goehl talked about his startup HOSS (Home Office Supply Service) and Shirley Peters shared her experiences with Refresh & Revive. Jan-Niclas Müller from Technologie – und Gründerzentrum Kempen (TZN) led the brainstorming session. The students got a lot of positive impulses and will work on developing the concepts over the next few months.
80 students have now founded a company via the startup community of Fontys Venlo. Rudi Willemsen from Fontys Venlo and Jan-Niclas Müller from Technologie – und Gründerzentrum Kempen (TZN) accompany the students in their first steps as founders. Fontys International Business School in Venlo finds project very important work when training its students .
Technologie – und Gründerzentrum Kempen (TZN) supports the transfer of technology between universities and companies in the region, advises young founders on setting up a business and offers numerous training and further education opportunities. The TZN also helps with the placement of Bachelor’s and Master’s theses and in finding the right contact person. The Fontys International Business School and the Technologie – und Gründerzentrum Kempen (TZN) cooperate very closely in this area.
