
Review Cross-Border Summer School

From 20th to 24th September 2021 the virtual Summer School – hosted by Fontys International Business School and Hochschule Niederrhein – University of Applied Sciences took place. About 20 young academics and students from Germany and the Netherlands participated in lectures and workshops provided by researchers and professionals from Dutch-German borderland.
The goal of the summer school was to provide sustainability enthusiasts insights and best practices in order to implement sustainable solutions in multidisciplinary settings. Public institutions, medium-sized companies as well as global players presented their approaches towards circularity.
During the course of the week, student teams worked on business cases provided by Amazon Mönchengladbach and Canon Production Printing Venlo. The programme culminated in the students’ presentations to representatives of the companies and the universities.
