Semester abroad in the knowledge region euregio campus
Would you like to do a semester abroad? Here in the border region of Mönchengladbach, Krefeld and Venlo, other countries are only 30 kilometers away! Just use the opportunity in front of your door and get to know the opportunities of our cross-border knowledge region. Increase your chances on the job market by developing intercultural skills and establishing international contacts. Don’t stop at the border, apply for internships and jobs on both sides, in the entire region of the euregio campus. Euregio campus is the cross-border region between the Rhine and Maas with the large cities of Krefeld, Mönchengladbach and Venlo.

euregio campus school visits
Together with the company “Meet the Youngsters” (https://www.meettheyoungsters.nl/), we organize school visits, during which we acquaint schoolchildren with the euregio campus knowledge region, the study opportunities at the euregional universities of applied sciences and the euregional business landscape. The first school visit to a secondary school in Roermond on 11 November 2020 was a great success!
The school visit is aimed at pupils in the fourth to sixth grade of secondary school. Besides a presentation, there is also the opportunity to use virtual reality glasses. Meet the Youngsters specifically coordinates this with each school.

Training opportunities for employees
Do you have a degree or a completed apprenticeship, but would like to continue your education at university level without completing a full degree? Maybe even abroad? And still living in your normal environment? The advanced training courses at the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences and Fontys Venlo University of Applied Sciences are extremely practice-oriented and often take place in cooperation with representatives from the regional economy.
