Healthy Building Network (HBN)
Description and objectives of the project
The Healthy Building Network (HBN) is an innovation network and knowledge platform specialised in healthy building.
The aim is the efficient use of raw materials, which are used long-term in a high-quality manner in a circular economy, so that ultimately no waste is created. Modern building technology saves resources, is ecological and creates a healthy indoor climate. The construction method must therefore be people- and environment-friendly. Consequently, employee performance improves and absenteeism decreases.
HBN buildings have other economic advantages: they consume hardly any energy and can also produce energy themselves.
The Healthy Building Network project aims to inspire and raise awareness of healthy building among companies, and to make existing knowledge concerning the circular economy, intelligent use of sustainable materials and energy efficiency available.
Innovation
The Healthy Building Network offers innovation vouchers for various services that help companies on their way to a healthy building. In this way, they promote the development of innovative solutions in the building sector related to the topics of “healthy building” and “healthy buildings”.
Added value for the region
The cross-border network contributes to the development of a model region where the latest technologies can be seen and experienced. Moreover, healthy buildings are a good showcase for companies.
